Plasti-Clad Metal Products manufactures Nylon Coated Wire for Hook & Eye Wire. Hook & Eye Wire requires the advanced corrosion resistance so that rust will not stain fabric that the formed Hooks and Eyes have been sewn onto. In the case of brassiere manufacturers this wire must be very uniform in color to match the a particular cloth. The adhesion of the plastic to the wire has to be good to withstand the tight turns and twists of forming. Any loose plastic will hinder sewing operations afterwards.

Plasti-Clad Metal Products has developed a process capable of withstanding a 100+ Salt Spray Test of formed Hooks and Eyes and has been making this product for over 40 years.
