Plasti - Clad Metal Products manufactures Steel Wires from .105" to .014". The wires are typically Nylon Coated for further use by various other manufactures, who form the wire after it is coated. This allows for a considerable cost savings. Coating or painting of parts, after forming, is generally quite expensive due to amount of handling required for each piece. In addition, we can manipulate the substrate beneath the coating so as to assure no corrosion on the Cut-End. Some of the Wires we have replaced include Stainless Steel, Nickel Coated Brass, Brass, Anodized Aluminum, Tin Coated Steel and Zinc Coated Steel.
